FISH BOXES (FISHCOMPACT)

Videcart, S.A. gives this name to the compact cardboard boxes with four bonding points (lid and bottom) and/or pop-up boxes used to hold fish, shellfish or other products containing a high degree of moisture.  FISHCOMPACT boxes are manufactured using diverse types of laminated compact cardboard sheets, depending on the different box types and sizes.  Given that these boxes must withstand the presence of water, the recycled cardboard COMPONENTS used in their manufacture are glued and covered with a plastic film or polyethylene-covered Kraft paper, resulting in DIFFERENT OUTWARD APPEARANCES, in white, beige, silver, etc. 

The Fishcompact family is made up of standard boxes with DIFFERENT TYPES AND SIZES that range from 1-kg. boxes all the way up to 50-kg. ones.  Moreover, should the client require it, they can be manufactured with custom-designed shapes and sizes

For the printing of Fishcompact boxes, VIDECART, S.A. uses the OFFSET process, which ensures HIGH-QUALITY printing with the right amount of lustre.  This system enables us to supply our clients with boxes that have any type of five-colour, photographic-quality printing.  Thanks to the treatment applied to cardboard pulp, FISHCOMPACT is designed to WITHSTAND RUGGED CONDITIONS aboard a ship, which range from humidity to tropical temperatures to deep-freezing.  The cardboard, film, glues and inks all bear up to these extreme conditions.

For normal use, all components that go into the manufacture of FISHCOMPACT boxes are APT FOR DIRECT CONTACT WITH FOOD PRODUCTS and comply with all the regulations in this connection.  FISHCOMPACT is a completely environmentally friendly product since it is mainly made (more than 95%) from recycled materials, and because it is recovered cardboard it is fully RECYCLABLE.  Solvent-based glues are not used.
